Client Services Representative

The Client Services Representative is responsible for providing service to the DDIL client base through effective verbal and written communication as well as troubleshooting and resolving all types of dental claim related inquiries in a busy, structured inbound call center environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately respond to verbal and written inquiries and complaints directly from subscribers, providers, brokers, or group administrators.
  • Accurately process claim adjustments during the phone call and/or during regular work time.
  • Review and process claims according to established business rules that have failed computer program edits.
  • Maintain and follow up on documents for all adjustment requests, check investigations, overpayment letters and e-forms.
  • Complete and maintain daily log/forms/reports.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance reimbursement practices, i.e. processing policies, deductibles, maximums, Coordination of Benefits (COB) and dental terminology.
  • Strong computer keyboard skills and capable of working in an ACD environment with talk and work time goals.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Financial Reporting Accountant

The Financial Reporting Accountant is responsible for the completion of accurate financial statements both according to Generally Acceptable Accounting Principles and Statutory Accounting Principles.  This position will also support the analysis needs of the Finance department. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare various regulatory filings including the annual/quarterly statutory blanks and audit reports.
  • Prepare state specific regulatory and premium tax filings.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of financial statements in accordance with Generally Acceptable Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP).
  • Assist with external audits, including workpaper preparation.
  • Prepare various management reports.
  • Responsible for A/R delinquency monitoring and account discrepancy investigation.
  • Act as the department liaison for the maintenance and promotion of the claims/billing/commission ACH program.
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules, including the recording to appropiate depreciation and reconciliation to the general ledger.
  • Prepare and file state specfic unclaimed property in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Process monthly commission payments.
  • Prepare assigned journal entries in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Process accounts payable timely and accurately including invoice coding to the proper general ledger account.
  • Prepare assigned general account reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with GAAP and SAP accounting principles as they relate to insurance.
  • Great Plains experience a plus.
  • High level of proficiency with query tools and Microsoft Office applications (advanced Excel skills required).
  • Effective analysis skills and problem solving capabilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • CPA certification preferred.

 

Systems Administrator

The Systems Administrator is responsible for performing problem analysis and providing server administration as well as desktop support to end-users for both hardware and software issues.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Administer file, Active Directory, print, Exchange and other Windows servers.
  • Provide Help Desk end user client support to identify, analyze, resolve and document technical and training problems.
  • Debug desktop hardware and software.
  • Repair and/or replace desktop/laptop/terminal hardware and printer components as necessary.
  • Perform security permission changes/additions/deletions for all platforms.
  • Administratively support report distribution for internal/external clients.
  • Provide assistance to the Network Administrator as directed.
  • Assist Network Engineer in supporting Cisco switches.
  • Conduct training (electronic or oral) for end users as required.
  • Create new images of desktop/laptop/terminal configurations.
  • Configure desktop/laptop/terminal workstations.
  • Install and upgrade software applications and hardware.
  • Perform backups of the network.
  • Document procedures and techniques in a professional manner for disaster recovery.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Systems or related field, or comparable experience.
  • Minimum of two years of desktop experience and one year of server experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems, Office and basic Server/PC hardware.
  • Previous problem solving experience with Windows applications.
  • Proven communications skills (written and oral).
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and strong work ethic.  Ability to take initiative.
